COVID-19 UPDATE 2nd October


Social Bowls will be on Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays starting on Wednesday 7th October 2020

People to ring in on the day to enter from 10am until 12 noon with games starting at 1:00pm. There is no restriction on numbers of players.

Toilet facilities will be available everyday from Monday 5th October. The Club remains closed at this stage.

No Tea Coffee or water will be available, please bring your own, this is a Government regulation. Alcohol not allowed.

Masks must be worn, face shields and bandanas are not appropriate.

All participants must sign the proper register with name, telephone, time in and out.

Visitors are allowed but must produce a driver’s license at the match office.

Proper bowls shoes must be worn at all times.

If unwell stay at home or you will be sent home.

Club Events to start -sheets for Men’s and Ladies’ Minor Singles and 100Up  are posted in the BBQ area. Payment on the day of the first round.

Located approximately 320 kilometres East of Melbourne, via the Prince’s Highway, Lakes Entrance is a fishing port and tourist destination. The climate is temperate with frosts being rare and the average summer temperatures being lower than most of the rest of Victoria.

The Lakes Entrance Bowls Club is located in the centre of town. Combined with the temperate climate, two excellent artificial greens allow bowling all year round with organized social games six days per week (Seven days per week during daylight saving).

    The Final of the Ladies Singles was held on Monday 4th Nov. After a high quality game enjoyed by spectators, Marg Brandhoj prevailed by one shot over Val Collins. Congratulations to both players.

    The Ladies’ Novice Singles was the final club event for this season. It was won by Colleen Bastin with Margo Short runner-up. Great to see some of our new bowlers involved in Club Events. Well done to Bill Rowley and Jennie Oliver for organising these events.
